We ran off together to Gretna Green! But we let some friends and family come too! It was awful weather on the drive up there the day before, but was lovely and sunny on the day, even though still chilly. We did a mini tour of the area, including a trip to Moffat. the Ram there had been defaced during the war by Nigel's dad, so it was nice to see it at its best! We had a few days at Edinburgh and drove out to Loch Lomond as well. During the drive to the loch Peter got Nigel to stop the car at in a small village. He had spotted a butchers shop and went in and got some haggis. We also had a meal when we got back home for everyone who couldn't join us in Scotland, and Peter made the cake as an Anvil! Peter also cooked the haggis he had brought back with him with a delicious sauce.
