Although I had been chatting with Peter for several months on line we actually met for the first time in November, at the regular 'Pub Meet' at the Littern Tree in Old Street, organised by people from aol's 'Life Begins at 40' chat room. I had no idea what Peter looked liked, but he had told me what he was wearing. I remember waiting in the pub checking every bloke who came in to see whether they were Peter or not! I did spot him in the end and had to go up to him and ask if he was Peter! Then I told him off for hiding, as he had been there a while - I wouldn't mind but I had sent him my photo so he could have come and said hi to me earlier! Anyway, after driving up from Bournemouth to meet me he had a few cokes then drove me back home before heading back down to Bournemouth. I didn't realise until later how long the journey took! Anyway shortly after I invited him up to London again for a meal (home made shepherd's pie) which he enjoyed. This time he did stay overnight and we never looked back!
