Peter's Education

Created by Anne 15 years ago
Peter's first school was Annandale, but after a while he went to Christchurch, as did the rest of his brothers and sisters. When he was eleven he went to Blackheath Bluecoats School. Whilst at this school he was given the option to join the catering course, which was open to all pupils in the 4th and 5th year. This meant that a large percentage of his studies was devoted to catering (as opposed to Home Economics) and lead to the City & Guilds 147 after the first year and later examinations at the end of the second year. Peter passed all the exams that he was taking at the school and left with City & Guilds 147 Basic Cookery to the Catering Industry, Pass with Credit. He also had a CSE in Catering, as well as passes in CSE Maths and English.
